Gary Doolittle, M.D., Oncologist

Goodland Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Gary Doolittle, M.D. to its staff of visiting consultants. Dr. Doolittle will conduct an oncology outreach clinic in Goodland once a month and be available for patient consultation via the telemedicine network on a weekly basis.

Dr. Doolittle is a professor of medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Kansas Cancer Center and specializes in melanoma malignancies. He is also the medical director of the Midwest Cancer Alliance, the outreach arm of the University of Kansas Cancer Center and has been instrumental in developing and providing consultation services for the university's Center for Tele-medicine and Tele-health through the Tele-oncology program.

A native Kansan, Dr. Doolittle received his undergraduate degree from Pittsburg State University in 1980 and completed his Medical Degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He joined the faculty of the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1991 and has served as the Medical Director of the Center for Telemedicine since 2000.

He is a member of the American College of Physicians as well as the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and the American Telemedicine Association.
