Meet our Doctors


Dr. Shafei

Mohedine Shafei, M.D., began his international education with a research fellowship in pathology and pediatrics at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He attended residency at the National University of Iran and attended an internship through Harvard Medical School and Waltham Hospital. He then went on to an Internal Medicine residency through Faulker Hospital - Tufts University in Boston. His expertise ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics and he enjoys patients of all ages. He believes strongly in preventative medicine and encourages his patients to "invest" in their health. Dr. Shafei's office is located in the Goodland Family Health Center at 106 Willow, Rd. Dr. Younger

David Younger, M.D. obtained a B.S. degree in biology from the University of North Carolina and graduate from medical school in 1979 from Wake Forest University, School of Medicine. He went on to attend a three year residency through the Wheeling Hospital Family Practice Program in Wheeling, West Virginia. He is currently board certified in Family Practice and was ranked in the 93rd percentile on his last board certification examination. Since 1992, he has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has over 20 years experience in obstetrics and c-sections and performs colposcopy/leeps, no scalpel vasectomies, c-sections and a wide array of obstetrical services in his practice at the Goodland Family Health Center, 106 Willow Rd., (785) 890-6075.



Dr. Daise

Travis Daise, M.D., is a Goodland High School graduate and obtained his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Kansas. He stayed at KU and received his medical degree in the School of Medicine in 2000. He completed his three year residency at the Smoky Hill Family Practice in Salina. Dr. Daise provides a full compliment of obstetrical services and has special interest in endoscopic procedures and performs his own colonoscopys and EGDs. Dr. Daise serves his patients at the Goodland Family Health Center at 106 Willow Rd. and can be reached there at (785) 890-6075.


Jackie Jorgensen

Jackie Jorgensen, ARNP, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She started her nursing education at St. Luke's Hospital in Denver where she received her RN certificate. She later received her bachelor's and master's degree in nursing from Fort Hays State University. Her experience and special interest as a Family Nurse Practitioner include: pediatric, adult, obstetrics, and geriatrics. Jackie serves her patients at the Goodland Family Health Center at 106 Willow Rd. and can be
