Sharps Disposal
The GRMC provides disposal of patient needles (sharps) through safe handling practices. Red containers for sharps can be obtained from the GRMC at the Central Registration desk, Nurses' Station or the Director of Diabetes Education at no cost. When the container is full, patients can return them for an empty one by bringing the container back to Central Registration during normal business hours or to the Nurses' Station after hours or on weekends.
